With altitudes ranging from 300 to 3,000 metres, the many paths and trails in and around Algund guarantee a varied nature experience for everyone. Make your way from the valley to the summit, in any season!
Uplifting views
No need for exhausting treks: you can reach the hiking paradise in the mountains above Algund simply using the available lift facilities: the Vellau-Leiter Alm basket lift, the Algund – Vellau chairlift and the Aschbach cable car. The ascent is an experience in its own right!
Cycling in Algund
Take an e-bike tour to Meran through the orchards, explore the Claudia Augusta road on a racing bike or climb to the mountain pastures on a mountain bike. If needed, there’s a bike hire shop in our vicinity.
